Biography:-


Ankur Garg hails from Patiala, Punjab, and comes from a medical family. In 2002, he achieved the highest rank of AIR 1st and passed the Civil Service Examination (UPSC). He had said in an interview that his childhood desire of becoming an IAS official had come true in 2002. Additionally, he had said that he was sure he would be in the top ten, but even he was taken aback by his first place.

At the age of 22, Ankur Garg made history by becoming the youngest IAS officer in India. In the year 2003, he passed the IAS exam on his first try. He had received the highest score on the UPSC test and had achieved the AIR 1st rank. IAS is a reputable professional path that enables you to assist the citizens of the nation.




Education:-


In 2002, Ankur Garg passed the UPSC Civil Services on his first try. At the age of 22, he passed the UPSC-conducted Civil Services Examination to become the youngest IAS officer. He was born on June 14, 1980, and is primarily from Punjab's Patiala.He graduated in 2002 with a B.tech in Electronics Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, New Delhi.Additionally, he attended INSA in Lyon, France for his third year of engineering studies as an exchange student. In addition, he completed a three-month internship at the EPFL in Lausanne, Switzerland.Since physics and chemistry have always been his favorite topics, he chose them for his optional paper.


UPSC Topper IAS Journey:-


His dream from third grade was to become an IAS official and serve in that capacity. Despite being an engineer and having graduated from IIT Delhi, he had a particular fondness for history courses. He selected History, Physics, and Chemistry for the exam. Prior to receiving his degree from IIT Delhi, he also held two international accomplishments from the Institute of Lausanne and Paris. While he was a student, he was also given a six-figure salary by a prestigious private corporation, but he turned it down. He took the UPSC exam because he wanted to serve his country and fulfil his goals.

Ankur Garg was a 2002 batch cadre for AGMUT. IAS Topper, who is now employed by the Municipal Corporation of Delhi as the Deputy Commissioner District (Central Zone), has been named Private Secretary (PS) to the Union Cabinet Minister for Civil Aviation, Shri A. Gajpathi Raju. Arunachal Pradesh, Goa, Mizoram, and
 Union Territories (except from the Andaman and Nicobar Islands) are included in the AGMUT cadre. Since this cadre is typically posted in Delhi, civil servants like it.

His mother Parveen Garg works as a child specialist at Government Rajindra Hospital, while his father Dr. KC Garg is a plastic surgeon. His younger sister, who is also a doctor, studied for her MBBS at Lady Hardinge Medical College in New Delhi.
