Officer in the Indian Administrative Service is Mir Subhani. He was born in Siwan, Bihar, on April 10, 1964. He earned an M.A. in statistics after graduating. He passed the UPSC, one of the hardest tests, in a single attempt and was ranked first among Bihar cadre in 1987. In 1994, Amir Shubani started his career and was given the position of Sub Divisional Officer. He took on the role of district collector in the districts of Bhojpur and Patna in 1993 and 1994, respectively. In 2005, he rose to the position of Chairman of the Milk Co-operative Federation through his hard work. He held a variety of posts in the state of Bihar. He is currently the Chief Secretary of a Bihar minority community.

As a Sub Divisional Officer, Amir Subhani started off in his profession. He was named District Collector of the district of Bhojpur in 1993, then of Patna in 1994. He was appointed Chairman of the Bihar State Milk Co-operative Federation in 2005. Subhani held a number of posts in the Bihar government, including Principal Secretary and Secretary of the Home Department. Amir Subhani became the first member of a minority group to hold the position of Chief Secretary of State of Bihar on January 1, 2022.
