The purpose of the 1968 establishment of the Armed Forces Headquarters Civil Service (AFHQ CS) was to provide specialized administrative pillars that are vital to the Ministry of Defense's operation. The officers of the service are employed by the Ministry of Defense, the numerous Inter-Services Organizations, the Integrated Headquarters of the Armed Forces, and the Integrated Defence Staff Headquarters. officials in charge of personnel administration, policy planning, budgeting, logistics, pensions, and legal concerns are among the topics that AFHQ CS officials handle.
