Education:-


Mutyala Raju was born into a family of marginal farmers in the isolated island community of Chinnagollapalem, which is located in Krishna district on the coast of Andhra. Among the Other Backward Classes, he is a member of the Agnikula Kshatriya caste of fisherman. Both of his older brothers work as farmers. 

His high school was Zilla Parishad. Raju studied electrical and electronics engineering at Mullapudi Memorial Polytechnic College in Tanuku, in the West Godavari district. In the Polytechnic Common Entrance Examination, he is the state champion.


In the 1998 Engineering Common Entrance Test (ECET), he received the top rank. In 2002, he took the GATE exam and placed third overall in India. He obtained an M.E. in signal processing from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, after completing his B.Tech in signal engineering at the National Institute of Technology, Warangal. Along with earning first place in Indian Engineering Services in 2003, he was assigned to the position of railway engineer.

Raju enrolled in coaching sessions at the R C Reddy Coaching Centre in the city after making three attempts at the UPSC Civil Services test. He choose mathematics and electrical engineering as electives. He was born in Mutyala's secluded island settlement of Chinnagollapalem in the Krishna district on the Andhra coast. Raju hails from a family of marginal farmers. He is a member of the Other Backward Classes and is a fisherman from the Agnikula Kshatriya caste. His two older brothers work as farmers and are also involved in agriculture.

UPSC Topper Mutyala Raju Revu  IAS Journey:-


In 2006, Mutyala Raju Revu passed the UPSC Civil Services on his third try. He is an Andhra Pradeshi probationer in the Indian Police Service (I.P.S). IAS officer Mutyala Raju Revu is an Andhra Pradesh cadre member from the year 2006. 

It was his third time taking the UPSC test. He placed 223rd in his 2005 first attempt and was assigned to the Indian Police Service's Rajasthan cadre. On December 18, 2006, he completed his police training at Hyderabad's Sardar Vallabh Bhai National Police Academy..

He was driven to take the civil services exam by the death of his sister and six friends in his isolated Chinnagollapalem village due to a lack of transportation options and a motto to empower those rural areas lacking basic amenities, one of which being his own village. According to Mutyala Raju Revu, "My village lacks a transportation system and is cut off by the Godavari and Krishna rivers, so my sister and others could not get medical attention in time."”.

The East Godavari District Joint Collector is now Mr. Revu Mutyala Raju. He won a gold medal in the IAS batch of 2006. In 2008, he was employed by Vikarabadh as a Trainee Sub Collector. Later, he spent two years working as an ITDA PO in the district of Adilabad. He was thereafter designated as the district of Rangareddy's joint collector. He has now been appointed as JC on transfer to our district. 

In addition to serving as Chairman and Managing Director of the Andhra Pradesh Eastern Power Distribution Company Limited (APEPDCL), Mutyala Raju assumed leadership of the Collectorate in Andhra Pradesh as District Collector.
