For 33 positions as Sub Inspectors of Excise, the Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) is asking qualified applicants to apply online. Method of Hiring:


The written exam, the physical assessment and endurance test, and the certificate verification process will make up the recruitment process. There will be 150 questions in a written test, worth 150 marks overall. The exam will take place in 180 minutes. Candidates will be shortlisted for a physical measurement and endurance test based on their written test results.


Men: 1.6 kilometres run in 8 minutes; 3.66 metres long jump
Women: 1.67 km run in 10 minutes and 20 seconds; 2.77 metres long jump
