Biography:-


On May 21, 1987, she was born and raised in Chennai. In 2022, she celebrated her 36th birthday. S Padmavathi is a homemaker, while her father, V Shanmugam, works as a private consultant. Gokulnath is her younger brother, while her older sister Priyadarshini works in Bangalore. Divyadarshini IAS said her parents have always been encouraging and supporting. She likes to spend time with her friends, watch films, listen to music and watch cricket in her free time.




Education:-


In 2010, at the age of 24, S Divyadharshini UPSC Civil Services made his second attempt. In essence, she was a Tamil Nadu native. She graduated from Chennai's Asan Memorial Senior Sec School. She received an 86% in her 12th class and a 74% in her 10th class from the CBSE board. She completed her degree with a BA BL (Hons) from Dr. Ambedkar Law University at Chennai's School of Excellence in Law College in Tamil Nadu. She failed the preliminary exam on her first try in 2009, but on her second try, she passed and became the top ranker in the civil services in 2010. She is employed with the public department in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, as a deputy secretary at the moment.

She had been employed by State Bank of India (SBI) for the previous six months after passing the 2010 SBI Clerical Recruitment Exam and the 2010 Civil Services Examination. Her mother S. Padmavathi stays at home while her father V. Shanmugam works as a custom consultant. She has a younger brother named Gokulnath and an elder sister named Priyadarshini who works in Bangalore..

She selected public administration as her major and law and public administration as her electives for the main exam. Since she completed her degree in law and considered the curriculum to be simple, choosing law was an obvious decision for her.

IAS Journey:-


In 2012–2013, S Divyadharshini IAS began her career in the civil service as an Assistant Collector in Coimbatore. She then took up the position of Sub Collector in the district of Nagapattinam, Mayiladuthurai, where she served from 2013 to 2015. She graciously refused fruit bouquets and only received books as gifts from officials. She also served as the Public Works Department secretary and deputy home secretary. Interestingly, she was appointed first collector of the just created Ranipet district. She stated in an interview that she wanted to use her position as a federal employee to promote change.

Currently, S Divyadharshini IAS serves as the Managing Director of the Tamil Nadu Corporation for Women's Development Limited.


She studies for four to five hours a day on average, and she studies for a few extra hours during exam periods. She emphasised the uttermost necessity of self-belief as a critical part of preparedness. She said once, "Develop your own strategy, as no one knows you better than yourself."

S Divyadharshini IAS, who is 24 years old, placed first in the 2010 Civil Services Exam. She was welcomed into the world by her parents, S Padmavathi, a homemaker, and V Shanmugam, a private consultant. Before this incredible accomplishment, Divyadharshini worked for the State Bank of India (SBI) for six months after passing the 2010 SBI Clerical Recruitment Exam. She received a total score of 1334 (58%), in the exam. She decided to specialise in law and public administration. She was quite fond of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam.

As per Divyadharisini ,Reputable coaching centres are essential for offering helpful advice in the beginning when one is not sure where to start. She underlined the value of the center's assessment method, which aids people in determining where they stand right now and what needs more work. Divyadarshini recognised Prabhas IAS Academy's Coach Prabhakaran Sir as her mentor. She also mentioned how, on her second try, she relied heavily on the internet for knowledge, using websites devoted to current issues for CSE classes.
