Between 1988 and 1992, Ashutosh Jindal graduated with a degree in electronics and communication from the Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology in Patiala, Punjab. He earned his master's degree in economics from Punjabi University, Patiala, between 1997 and 2000, a long time later.
Ashutosh Jindal was born in Punjab on December 11, 1971. His appointment as joint secretary in the ministry of petroleum and natural gas comes from his status as an IAS Topper from the Manipur-Tripura cadre in the MT-1995 batch.
Additionally, he excelled in the BE (Electronic and Communication) engineering program at Punjab University's Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology. The same university awarded him a master's degree in economics as well.

Ashutosh Jindal has served in Tripura's elite administrative service for a considerable amount of time. He is currently the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) and has performed admirably in a number of important roles, including Returning Officer (as DM, West Tripura) for the West Tripura Loksabha constituency in 1998. Engrossed in vital tasks and making critical decisions in his current role as Chief Electoral Officer.
Throughout his career, he held a variety of positions, including that of Returning Officer for the West Tripura Parliamentary Constituency in 1998, ARO for the 1999 Parliamentary Elections, and Returning Officer for the same position in 2004. In my capacity as DM, West Tripura, he served as the District Election Officer during the 2003 General Assembly Elections.
